Grand Bend’s weekend of hosting CSBK did not disappoint the legions of thrill seekers who appreciate and follow the sport of motorcycle racing. Once again, Ben Young took the prize in Pro Superbike, and once again Jordan Szoke was on the podium, but the times were incredibly close and the results were not certain until the Finish Line decided it.
This event was the second last in this year's six race CSBK series. The series finishes in August at Mosport, yet another of the iconic racetracks this series will have visited. To even be present on these tracks and feel the historical presence of so many great moments of Canadian history is in itself an awesome experience.
There has not been a boring moment for fans or racers alike. The weather has been mostly perfect for both the fans and the racers; dry, warm but not too hot, and sunny but not a relentless ball of fire in the sky.
